New DVDs in the Works

The Animusic production team is busy creating another set of animated music videos that will be released on DVD in late 2004 (current schedule). We have five animations well into production, and one is completed. Although the majority of the music is original, for the first time we've animated an excerpt from a well-known classical work: Pictures at an Exhibition. Below is a still from that animation. . . .

5.1 Surround Sound Coming

Wayne Lytle has mixed all the music from the original Animusic DVD in 5.1 Surround Sound. We're nearing completion on the Animusic Special Edition DVD, which should be out in stores in the early part of next year. It will have the same 7 animations, plus fancy animated menus, Dolby Digital 5.1, and some interesting new bonus material, such as a Set Construction segment for each animation. Also, it includes the first music animation Wayne and Dave did together (dating back to 1996), and a Sneak Peak of Animusic-2.
